100% Volunteer Led

Fostering economic development & community engagement in Historic Downtown Berryville & Clarke County.

While encouraging a diverse and robust economic system.

We are working to preserve and promote our local downtown as the community hub and a collective sense of place.

A Virginia Exploring Main Street

The Virginia Main Street Program is a preservation-based economic and community development program that follows the Main Street Approach by the National Main Street Center. Virginia Main Street is a Main Street America State Coordinating Program that offers a range of services and assistance to communities interested in revitalizing their historic commercial districts.

While the program was designed to address the need for revitalization and on-going management of smaller to mid-sized downtowns, aspects of the Main Street Approach may be applied successfully in other commercial settings.

Buy Local, Virginia Made

“If you have a choice between buying something in Vietnam or China or buying something made in Virginia, why not buy it from people in Virginia? A lot of times, it’s not much more expensive or may even be less.”

Beth Macy – American Journalist and Storyteller
